Family engagement is an imperative part of any educational journey. As educators, we should be committed to engage our families in meaningful ways to support their student’s learning and academic success (NAFSCE). This helps to build a bridge between school and home. We can give our families information and resources to help meet the needs of all of our students. According to research, teachers can improve family involvement by communicating regularly with their families, provide resources to support their families and remove language and cultural barriers (Parent Square website, 2023).
It is so important as we begin to embark on our new series, enVision, to keep parents informed as much as possible. enVIsion offers so many different resources to use in the classroom as well as outside of the classroom.
